Live Selling Sales Representative
A high-energy, charismatic, and results-driven Live Selling Sales Representative to be the face and voice of our brand across our digital platforms. In this role, you will host live-streaming sessions to showcase, demonstrate, and sell our products in real-time.
The ideal candidate possesses a natural on-camera presence, excellent conversational skills, and the ability to turn viewers into immediate buyers. You will bridge the gap between entertainment and retail, creating an interactive, trust-filled shopping experience that drives volume and builds brand loyalty.
Core Responsibilities
Host Live Streams: Lead interactive live-selling sessions (typically 2 to 4 hours per session) on platforms such as Facebook, TikTok, Instagram and Shopee.
Drive On-Stream Conversions: Present product features, benefits, and styling/usage tips compellingly to meet and exceed hourly and monthly sales targets.
Engage the Audience: Actively read and respond to live comments, answer viewer inquiries about sizing, quality, and pricing, and keep the energy high throughout the broadcast.
Create Urgency: Effectively pitch flash sales, limited-time coupons, and exclusive live-only bundles to incentivize immediate checkouts.
Product Preparation: Study upcoming product line-ups before going live to ensure accurate information, smooth transitions, and seamless demonstrations.
Collaborate with Backend Support: Work closely with the live setup crew, moderators, and tech assistants to coordinate pin-pointing products on screen and tracking stock levels in real-time.
Post-Stream Review: Analyze session metrics (viewer retention, conversion rates, peak viewership) with the marketing team to continuously optimize performance and script strategies.
Requirements and Qualifications
1. Experience & On-Camera Skills
- Proven Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in live commerce, retail sales, video hosting, telemarketing, or content creation.
- On-Camera Charisma: Strong, vibrant personality with excellent vocal clarity, pacing, and body language suited for digital screens.
- Quick Thinking: Ability to improvise, handle live technical glitches or negative comments gracefully, and maintain composure under pressure.
2. Industry & Product Knowledge
- Retail Savvy: Experience in fashion, luxury goods, beauty, or consumer electronics is highly preferred.
- Trend Awareness: Familiarity with social media trends, popular background audio, and platform-specific algorithms (e.g., how TikTok Shop or Shopee Live prioritizes engaging hosts).
3. Core Competencies
- Persuasion & Salesmanship: Ability to handle objections on the fly and pitch value rather than just features.
- Stamina: High physical and vocal endurance to maintain enthusiastic energy for consecutive hours on camera.
- Schedule Flexibility: Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, or peak shopping holidays (e.g., double-day sales like 11.11 / 12.12), when viewer traffic is highest.
